After a tumultuous year on many fronts, companies and learning platforms have experienced a sharp increase of requests for mental wellness skills, training, or resources. Some of these offerings have been made through HR-related benefits, while others have been sought by individuals through learning platforms.

How one platform experienced record-growth for mental wellness resources

A recent report from Udemy for Business tracked virtual learning courses and suggested that the “soft skills” related to wellness experienced triple- and quadruple-digit growth.

According to their report, the top skills sought included:

  1. Anxiety management: +3,867%
  2. Resilience: +1,296%
  3. Stress management: +1,015%
  4. Meditation: +886%
  5. Mindfulness: +784%
